What we collect on this website
When you fill in a form or use the chat assistant, we collect what you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, your message and the chat conversation.
What not to share here
Please don’t enter passwords, identity numbers, payment details, or confidential project documents in the website chat or contact form. The chat automatically removes numbers that may be sensitive. Existing clients can use the client portal to share documents.
How we use it
We use your details only to reply to your request and, if you become a client, to provide our services. We don’t sell your information.
Text messages (SMS)
If you check the SMS/text consent box on our contact form, MAKTAG Technology Services LLC may text the mobile number you provide about your inquiry, customer service, scheduling, project updates, technical support, and other business communications you request. We keep a record of when you agreed and the wording you agreed to. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing products or services.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Avia, our chat assistant
Before the chat starts, we ask for your name and email address. We keep a record of your conversation, including your questions and Avia’s answers, together with your name and email, so our team can follow up with you and understand what visitors need help with.
We keep your name and email on our servers and do not send those details to the AI service provider. If you repeat the same name or email in a chat message, we remove it before sending the message for processing. Other information you choose to include in a message may be processed by the AI service provider to generate an answer. Answers are general information and do not replace professional advice or create a client relationship.
Client portal
Documents shared through the client portal are protected by access controls and encryption. Authorized client and staff accounts can access files according to their permissions. We use the information needed to support the engagement and applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Online payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter card or bank details on Stripe’s secure page; they never pass through or get stored on our website. We receive confirmation of the payment, the amount, and the card brand or bank name with the last four digits, which appear on your receipt.
